Rockhounding can be a very fun and exciting hobby for many, especially kids. Often called amateur geology, or even rock collecting, this hobby can bring on some very fun adventures for all ages. It does not matter what place you live, you are likely to be able to stumble onto some great rocks and minerals in your area.
